The Two Sheet Wonder, pt. 3

The Challenge Continues!

So close to the end of another school year!  I can hardly believe that in 13 school days I'll be finishing my 20th year of teaching.   So much to do in such little time!  Today I'm sharing group #3 from my two sheet wonder.  You can check out the full templates on my previous post.

Here are today's layouts for this group of cards.

I started card #9 by adjusting the layout, I decided I wanted to use a larger sentiment and didn't want to completely hide the paisley, so I offset both so I could still use the sentiment from Stick-a-bilities.  I added some texture with Park Lane's diamond embossing folder, using lines to counter the swoops of the paisley.  I finished off with some gems from Recollections.

Card #9, Two Sheet Wonder - "Happy Birthday"

Card #10 has lots of sparkle!  Not only did I use a small circle of silver glitter paper, I also used a navy ribbon with glitter, double colored glitter gems and and iridescent glitter embossing powder.  Yikes!  Too much?!?  Nah!  Every now and then a gal needs some bling, right?

Card #10, Two Sheet Wonder - "Congrats"

To really make the sentiment stand out I used a triple layer of embossing over the white ink so it not only has plenty of shine, it also has some depth.

Card #11 is one of my favs.  I love the combination of these flowers.  I used one of my favorite older and retired stamps sets.  I stamped the flowers with Stampin' Up's Hearftfelt Thanks with Blueberry Bushel on the white and stamped the outline with Paris Dusk.  The Navy flowers were stamped first with Whisper White and then outlined with Tuxedo Black.  I love the way the angle of the planks show off the multiple colors used for the wood.

Card #11, Two Sheet Wonder - "You're the Best"

I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and to the sentiment I had stamped in Whisper White to give each of them some extra spunk, then finished with jewels as the flower centers and on the banner.  I adore ribbon and this Night of Navy corduroy ribbon from Stampin' Up is one of my favs.

Finally, for card #12 I used multiple layers of paper and overlapped several pieces to really give a feeling of "hooray" moving forward.  I once again used my navy glitter ribbon and a few blue jewels and added Wink of Stella on the sentiment to make it shine.

Card #12, Two Sheet Wonder - "Hooray"

I just love the shimmer of Wink of Stella!  Hopefully you can see just how beautiful that product is!

That's my set of 4 for tonight!  Can you believe that I already have 12 cards from 2 sheets of paper and there's still more?!?

Decided it was time to clear out some of my cards so I participated in a couple of craft shows with my dear friend,  Karen.  She makes awes...
