Because one 6x6 challenge wasn't enough!

I have the bug!  Eek!  I was so excited to complete another 6x6 paper pad challenge.  I started with this amazing pack of paper from My Mind's Eye called Blush.  Check out those colors!  Aren't they amazing?

I loved the rustic look I used in my first one sheet wonder so I picked up a piece of Old White Fence by Paper Studio to use with it.

I started the same way I did with my first challenge, by sorting the papers and picking out sets that I liked.  I looked up some sketches on good, ole Pinterest and mapped out what portions of each paper I would have left so I could pre-plan as many cards as possible.

I grabbed this beautiful set of 110lb cardstock from Michael's to use as card bases or matting.  I love this pack called Rose Petals and I could totally see buying it again once I wipe it out!  Watch for it on sale at Michael's.  I was lucky enough to get it on sale with an additional percent off coupon.  With 100 sheets in 4 colors it was a great pair for this endeavor and I still have a ton leftover!

I wanted to have some inspirational cards on hand so I picked up some transparent stickers from Hobby Lobby that I simply love.  They fit so well with what I was trying to do.  I also pulled out some stamps, paper flowers and gems.  I made a few card sets each night.  Here's my first sets:

Card Batch #1

SS023 Sunday Sketches                        Mojo Monday #491

Operation Write Home #37

Despite being buried at work I finished a few cards the next few nights:

Card Batch #2

Mojo Monday #480                           I heart sketch 141

Operation Write Home #135             Reverse Confetti SFYTT #15

And once things calmed down at work I was able to finish the last several cards:

Card Batch #3

Card Batch #4

Operation Write Home #123

Freshly Made Sketches #34                     Viva La Verve April 2011

TSG 222 Sketch                          Dawn Griffith #60

(Final!) Card Batch #5

Sketch Saturday #491                          Mojo Monday #469

I love, love, love this paper pad!  It's truly awesome!  I was really thrilled with how the cards turned out, too.

Stickers:  Stampabilities - inspirational, La Petite - butterflies
Embellishments:  Paper Studio - paper flowers in blush, La crema adhesive pearls, Forever in Time - glitter tape, Recollections - foil tape, gems

Craft Show Fun

Decided it was time to clear out some of my cards so I participated in a couple of craft shows with my dear friend,  Karen.  She makes awes...
